Her art is passionate and true. It provides a walk through her journey, as she observes that of others, and she wraps it all up in an experimental and musical environment. Her strong belief in Christ and the gifts He’s given, has kept her involved in the arts for many years and she loves to express it. She enjoys life on and off the stage. At the age of 24, she released her first single, “But Still”, on the airwaves in her hometown, Barbados, followed by “Good Morning” and later, “Fall”.
In October, 2013, Larix released her debut album, Exposure, in collaboration with singer, songwriter and friend, Nicovia, which was followed by two years of joint ministry and music as the only female duo on island. Performing at numerous events in Barbados for over 12 years, Larix has shared the stage with many local and regional artistes and has even had the honour of sharing the stage with her favourite international artiste, Chrisette Michele. As her journey continues, she hopes that her life will be an instrument of change and her voice, one of reason and influence for the greater good where ever she goes.
